Garden tasks in Spring

Tackle the young weeds before they set seed; replenish mulch while the
soil is damp; spread a low-phosphorus, slow-release fertilizer for plants
to take up in the first flush of spring growth; prune the winter-flowering
shrubs; above all, sit back, enjoy the scents and sounds of warmer days. .
