Karwarra Horticultural Hall
An attractive facility set in the picturesque Karwarra Garden in the Dandenong Ranges with spectacular views of the garden and the Silven Dam. The call of birds, gentle breeezes through the gums and moist shade of the tree ferns provides an unforgetable ambience.
Weddings
The Garden is available after hours for wedding ceremonies and photos and can cater for groups of all sizes. The perfect setting for an intimate and romantic wedding, the garden is in full bloom in late winter and spring, from August to November. Ceremony: Outdoors - the Orchid area provides an intimate setting for groups of 30-40 and is especially beautiful in late November to December when a weeping tea-tree bursts into flower providing a snowy backdrop. Alternatively, the lawn in front of the pond provides comfortable area for 100 people.
Indoors, in the event of rain, Karwarra Hall provides a large picture window overlooking the garden as a picturesque backdrop.
Photo opportunities: the lookout with a backdrop of the Silvan Dam; a series of small ponds provide a beautiful backdrop for group shots while the fern gully offers that quiet moment together under the spreading tree ferns. Photo opportunities exist throughout the Garden as shrubs come into bloom at different times of the year.
Receptions: Light refreshments can be arranged with many local caterers or any number of reception and accommodation venues are located within a few minutes drive of the Garden.

The Horticultural Hall provides room to seat 50 around tables and 70 in theatre style rows, with room for two break-out spaces in the annexes and ample outdoor nodes for quiet conversations. - Catering - Silvandale Store will deliver light lunches or many local restaurants may do so by arrangement.
